球墨鑄鐵海底電纜保護管是可有效保護海底電力電纜和光纜，避免電纜和光纜遭受外部機械損傷及破壞，如礫石、滾石、沉積物、浮游船骸、浮冰、底拖網(wǎng)漁船、網(wǎng)箱漁排養(yǎng)殖、船錨、拖錨、冰山、風暴潮、潮汐、地震等的破壞和損傷。該產(chǎn)品每節(jié)有效長度為500mm-1000mm，也可以按要求自定義長度，以哈夫型球鉸連接，相連兩節(jié)保護管夾角可達25°左右，可多方位旋轉(zhuǎn)，使海底電纜和光纜有一定的彎曲靈活性，防止打扭。由于該產(chǎn)品施工方便、耐腐蝕，廣泛應用于海底電纜和光纜的保護和改造工程。

  球墨鑄鐵海底電纜保護管表面涂有防腐油漆，不易受海水的腐蝕，不容易腐爛，保護期長。傳統(tǒng)鐵磁材料保護管在海水中比較容易銹蝕，經(jīng)過一段時間海水的腐蝕，保護管銹蝕、變薄、變脆甚至腐爛，失去保護性能。

  套管連接:

  球墨鑄鐵海底電纜保護管管間采用半邊管對扣后用防銹螺絲固定，套管間用球形鉸鏈(大球套小球)連接。
